Editorial policy & how we verify
What we publish
Toolsiftly covers explanations of software, web apps and AI tools: what they do, how to use them for free, how they compare with alternatives, and their limitations.
How we verify
- We use official websites, documentation, release notes and source-code repositories first, and established technology press second.
- We state clearly whether a page is based on hands-on testing or on documented facts.
- We do not publish star ratings, invented benchmarks or testimonials.
- Limitations and maturity (alpha, beta, preview) are always stated.
- Every page shows the date it was last checked; the sources behind it are kept on file and available on request.
- We never invent facts, codes, dates, quotes, reviews, ratings or statistics.
Update cadence
Pages are reviewed when a tool ships a notable release or when readers report changes. The "Updated" date on each page shows the last time it was reviewed.
Corrections
If you spot an error, please tell us via the contact form or support@toolsiftly.com. We aim to review reports within 2 business days. Material corrections are made on the page and the updated date is changed.
AI and automation
We use software, including AI tools, to help find questions people ask and to draft and format pages. A page is published only when its facts are backed by the sources we checked.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising is separated from editorial content. If we use affiliate links, they will be labelled. Nobody can pay to change our findings.
